Discover medieval dungeons and period furniture of the Chateau de Roquetaillade’s private sitting rooms. Its first fortifications were built by Charlemagne, also known as Charles the Great. The current owner, the Viscount of Baritault du Carpia, still live there.
Continue your journey to the spectacular Chateau de Cazeneuve, formerly owned by the Kings of Navarre, the French King Henri IV and Queen Margot. It now belongs to the Duke of Sabran-de-Pontevès. Visit the stately Montesquieu library, nestled inside the Chateau de la Brède, a fortress built in the 14th century - a perfect example of medieval and Renaissance architecture.
